About Lauren

Lauren Wilson is a founder, operator, and strategic advisor with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of luxury fashion, commerce, and brand growth. She has built and scaled initiatives across fashion, resale, and emerging commerce platforms.

She is the Founder & CEO of Dora Maar, a curated luxury platform featured in Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. Before launching Dora Maar, Lauren led Business Development & Client Experience at Moda Operandi, working closely with designers, VIP customers, and global brand partners. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Christie’s, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren.

Today, Lauren partners with founders and teams shaping the future of commerce, advising on marketplace strategy, cultural partnerships, and high-touch customer growth. Her work has included projects with Fluency, an AI-powered SMS platform for creators, and Joopiter, Pharrell Williams’ luxury auction and marketplace platform, where she supports marketplace expansion, VIP consignor strategy, and cultural positioning.

Lauren holds an M.A. in Costume Studies from New York University and a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Business from the University of Southern California.
